Bharat Verma, also known as India’s First Body Percussionist, has made significant contributions both domestically and internationally in the field of body percussion. Since 2014, he has collaborated extensively in the United States, conducting workshops and performances at renowned venues such as New York’s Lincoln Center. In a noteworthy appearance, he showcased his talent on the reality show “The Voice 2019” on Star Plus, alongside musical legends AR RAHMAN and ADNAN SAMI, performing with his brother JayKara.
In Bollywood, Bharat’s artistic abilities extended to choreographing body percussion sequences for the movie “Lucknow Central” (2017), featuring acclaimed actor Farhan Akhtar. He also trained other notable actors like Gippi Grewal, Deepak Dobriyal, and Innamulhaq in the captivating body percussion style.
